Low power consumption is a desired feature of amplifiers. This saves power consumption, reduces heat, increases reliability, etc. At times a higher power level may be also necessary due to the radio link being insufficient. Developing a circuit to handle this can be complex and have multiple external components. Using a Dialog GreenPAK™ SLG46582V, the designer can easily use a single component to provide the needed voltages and control circuits to the amplifier as well as provide useful alarm and monitoring functions.
